What is the job about?
As a Pricing Assistant you will to support the development, implementation, and maintenance of pricing strategies and structures. You will ensure accuracy in pricing data; help analyse pricing trends and collaborate with other departments to optimise profitability and competitiveness.
What exactly will you do?
* Maintain and update pricing databases, ensuring accuracy and alignment with approved pricing strategies.
* Process pricing changes and assist with price file maintenance across pricing systems.
* Support the preparation and validation of customer price lists, contracts, and quotations.
* Analyse pricing data to identify trends, anomalies, or opportunities for improvement.
* Assist in the creation of pricing models, tools, and templates for internal use.
* Resolve pricing discrepancies or disputes quickly and professionally.
* Support pricing audits and provide documentation as needed for internal or external review.
* To work with internal and external stakeholders to best meet the needs of the clients and resolve their issues.
What we’re looking for
* High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively across departments.
* Must be able to adapt quickly to changes made internally and by the suppliers.
* Experience using Microsoft Office (Excel & Outlook is a must).
* Experience within the energy sector either in broker or supply.
* Someone who remains calm under pressure.
* Can work as part of a team but also on their own.
Bonus points
* Previous experience in pricing, finance, data administration, or a related role.
* Strong numerical, analytical, and Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, etc.).
* Experience with ERP or pricing software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Salesforce CPQ, etc.) is an advantage.
* Experience in the Utilities/Energy industry
