About the Role:
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and forward-thinking team in Shrewsbury. This is a rewarding opportunity to play a key role in supporting students across the curriculum and contributing to their academic and personal development.
The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to provide high-quality support within the classroom, helping to meet the diverse needs of our learners. This position is ideal for someone who has a strong passion for education, excellent interpersonal skills, and a flexible, positive approach to working with children.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supporting pupils within the classroom to enhance their learning experience and development.
• Working alongside teaching staff to plan and deliver targeted interventions.
• Building positive relationships with students, helping to foster confidence, independence, and engagement in learning.
• Providing support for students with additional needs to access the curriculum effectively.
• Supporting the implementation of EHCPs and tailored learning strategies.
• Contributing to a positive, inclusive, and nurturing school environment.
Key Skills and Requirements:
• A relevant Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is essential.
• A minimum of 5 GCSEs including English and Maths.
• Experience working in an educational setting is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive, flexible, and empathetic approach.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
