This is an exciting and influential opportunity to join the South & West Hertfordshire Health and Care Partnership (HCP) as Deputy Director of Transformation (Planned Care) to shape, lead, and deliver transformational change across planned care services for our local population.
The role requires someone with strategic insight, a strong grasp of commissioning and transformation with an ability to work collaboratively across organisational boundaries. Main duties of the job
In this role, you will:
* Provide visible and inclusive leadership for planned care transformation across the HCP.
* Develop and deliver evidence-based models of care and pathway redesign.
* Use population health intelligence and complex data to inform decisions and support system improvement.
* Ensure service changes improve quality, reduce unwarranted variation, and deliver value for money.
* Work closely with commissioning, contracting, procurement and finance colleagues to embed changes through delegated contracts.
* Build strong partnerships with providers, local authorities, PCNs, voluntary and community organisations, and local people.
* Lead and develop a transformation team, promoting innovation, digital enablement and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
* Has significant senior leadership experience in health or care commissioning.
* Brings experience delivering complex transformation programmes.
* Communicates and influences effectively at all levels.
* Is confident working with data and making evidence-based decisions.
* Works collaboratively across organisations and sectors.
* Demonstrates compassionate, inclusive leadership aligned to our values.

With a new hospital planned for Watford, work underway to update theatres at St Albans City Hospital and plans for a neighbourhood healthcare centre in Hemel Hempstead, this is an exciting time to join us.
