Duties:
7. Assist the General Sales Manager in managing daily sales operations across multiple sites
8. Lead, motivate, and develop the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets
9. Oversee lead allocation, ensure optimal customer follow-up, and monitor sales conversion rates
10. Maintain high standards of vehicle presentation in line with brand guidelines
11. Manage part exchange valuations and ensure accurate appraisals aligned with market trends
12. Handle customer complaints swiftly and professionally to ensure high customer satisfaction
13. Review financial reports and bank controls ensuring compliance with company policies
14. Collaborate with Transaction Managers to hit site unit targets and optimise sales processes
15. Organise and deliver sales team training to continually improve performance and product knowledge
16. Monitor and control costs related to vehicle preparations, ensuring efficiency without compromising standards
Requirements:
17. Proven management experience within a car sales environment, ideally over 1 year
18. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
19. Excellent communication and negotiation skills
20. Good understanding of finance, insurance products, and vehicle valuations
21. High level of attention to detail and customer satisfaction orientation
22. FCA accredited or willing to obtain accreditation
23. Flexible attitude to working hours, including weekends on a rota basis
