Learning Support Assistant BS5 Full-Time ASAP Start A Primary School in Central Bristol is currently seeking a strong candidate to support children’s development within their Inclusion room. At this three form entry school, their highly experienced teachers and staff are committed to providing a nurturing environment so that all of their children succeed. The Role This position is a full-time role where you will be working as a learning partner, engaging and supporting a year 1 SEMH pupil who has had previous trauma. You will be working mainly within the inclusion room but also integrating the pupil into the classroom throughout the day. The Head Teacher is looking for someone who can build a relationship, be empathetic, understanding and caring, but also be engaging and able to set strong boundaries. You will be expected to: Work collaboratively with the class teacher to develop activities. Be adaptable to meet the needs of individuals. Work 1:1 with children and sometimes in small groups supporting interventions. Support assessment and evidencing learning. Maintain a safe and positive learning environment.
