We are looking for a commercially driven and culturally plugged in Senior Buyer to execute product ranges at Killstar. This role will be responsible for delivering innovative, trend‑led collections that reflect our distinctive dark aesthetic while driving sales, margin, and brand growth across global markets. Working closely with Design, Merchandising, Product Development and Creative teams, you will take ownership of key categories and play a critical role in shaping seasonal direction.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Buying & Range Development
* Influence decision‑making and outcomes at every stage of the seasonal product range development process across key categories
* Build balanced assortments that reflect Killstar's gothic, occult and alternative identity while remaining commercially strong
* Identify opportunities for new product categories and collaborations.
* Own price architecture ensuring consistency with the range and price optimisation vs competitors
Trend & Market Analysis
* Translate subcultural trends, music, art, and digital movements into commercially viable product.
* Conduct ongoing competitor and market analysis within alternative and streetwear fashion.
* Work closely with design to shape trend direction, colour palettes, and key silhouettes.
Trading & Performance
* Own category performance, managing sales, margin, and stock levels.
* Analyse weekly trading reports and take action on bestsellers, repeats, and slow movers.
* Drive strategies to maximise sell‑through and profitability.
Supplier & Product Management
* Own and manage the Critical Path
* Source and develop relationships with global suppliers and manufacturers.
* Oversee product lifecycle from initial concept through to delivery.
Collaboration & Cross Functional Working
* Work closely with Design, Production, Merchandising, Marketing and E‑commerce teams to ensure aligned product launches
* Collaborate to seasonal buying strategies and category plans
* Support long term growth through range planning and product innovation
* Work with Wholesale Team to support optimisation of sales
Planning & Strategy
* Contribute to seasonal buying strategies and category plans
* Support long term growth through range planning and product innovation
* Align buying decisions with brand positioning and global expansion goals
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
* Experience in a Buying role, preferably within fashion, streetwear or alternative brands
* Proven experience managing categories or product areas independently
* Strong commercial track record of driving sales, margin and product success
* Experience working with international suppliers and managing production timelines
* A genuine understanding of alternative fashion, subcultures, and Killstar's customer.

WORK HOURS & LOCATION:
We support ahybrid working model, with 3 days per week at our Brighton HQ and 2 days flexible. This is a full‑time role working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 8:00am - 6:00pm.
