About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and organisedHealth & Safety Assistantto provide essential administrative, audit and project support to a busy Health & Safety team. This role plays a key part in helping the organisation meet its legal responsibilities and maintain effective health & safety systems.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative experience who is looking to develop further within the Health & Safety field.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide a wide range of administrative support including minute-taking, diary management, document production and data handling.
2. Act as a first point of contact for the department, offering guidance on established H&S procedures.
3. Maintain accurate records and manage information in line with policies.
4. Assist with producing quarterly and annual H&S performance reports, including collating data for national returns.
5. Support processes for reporting accidents and incidents.
6. Update departmental systems (including risk assessments, databases, KPIs, and web content).
7. Purchase safety equipment and manage purchase orders.
