As General Fleet Manager - Crewing you will be responsible for owning the safe, reliable and efficient management of a group of vessels within our group. We have a hugely diverse fleet which is continually evolving, so whether you have experience with Bulk, LPG, Oil, Product, Chemical, PCTC or Container vessels this could be your opportunity to build on and expand your knowledge and expertise.
You will be part of the Crew Management team who together will be the driving force in ensuring we have the most effective and efficient Global Crew Operations team. Our success will be reflected through our highly engaged and competent leaders and teams onboard our diverse fleet. You have a proven ability in driving changes through teams and successfully implementing these and imbedding the new processes and policies across the organisation and onboard our vessels. We are looking for an individual who is excited to be part of building our future crew strategy and the implementation of that strategy. Focussing on all aspects of crewing including sourcing, development, welfare and engagement with our global population of colleagues on board and at home who work on our diverse fleet of vessels.
Strong academic record with professional qualifications in maritime would be an advantage.
Demonstrated experience in a management role in shipping or other similar, is a requirement for this role.
Previous team management experience is a requirement for this role.
Proven ability to respond to and review current and future trends and to adjust crew management strategies, systems, policies and practices accordingly.
