Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Paralegal to join our legal team in providing comprehensive support to our solicitors. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assisting with legal research, drafting documents, and managing cases efficiently from taking instructions to completion. The role will be within the residential and commercial conveyancing department.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct legal research using various resources
* Assist solicitors with case preparation and management
* Draft legal documents, including letters and contracts
* Maintain and organise legal files and documents
* Communicate effectively with clients, courts, and other parties
* Manage and update databases and case management systems
* Provide administrative support to the legal team
Requirements:
* LAW DEGREE and LPC
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word
* Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
* IT proficiency for database management and research purposes
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
* Effective time management abilities to meet deadlines
* Previous experience working in a legal or office environment is advantageous
* Familiarity with Outlook or similar email platforms
