CNC Machinist Setter/Operator - 1 Year Experience Required (Turning/Milling)- Telford - Permanent Role. Location: Telford Working hours/ Shift: Monday-Thursday: Core hours 08:30-15:30 (30-minute lunch), flexible start 06:30, flexible finish up to 17:30 Friday: Core hours 08:30-12:30 (no lunch), flexible start 06:30, flexible finish up to 14:00 Contracted 39 hours per week with flexibility required based on workload. Salary: £16.70ph / £33,867pa Key Responsibilities: Set and operate CNC machinery to engineering drawing specifications Work from customer specifications and interpret technical drawings Use measuring and inspection equipment to ensure component quality Edit CNC programs when required Maintain high attention to detail and quality standards Identify process improvements and collaborate with colleagues Essential requirements: Experience in CNC turning or milling Knowledge of HEIDENHAIN, XYZ Potrac, or FANUC systems Ability to read and understand engineering drawings Programming experience beneficial but not essential Strong communication and interpersonal skills Specific Requirements - Turning: Experience setting and operating CNC turning machines (XYZ Proturan or FANUC preferred) Ability to interpret engineering drawings Specific Requirements - Milling: Experience with CNC milling machines (XYZ Potrac and/or HEIDENHAIN preferred) Ability to interpret engineering drawings Benefits: Permanent role within a precision manufacturing environment.
