Compensation Range: $18.21 to $24.83 - hourly/paid biweekly

Essential Functions And Basic Duties

* Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
* Performs delegated and ancillary basic nursing skills, including activities of daily living, monitoring of patient condition, body mechanics, providing nutritional support, and other standards of care, policies, and procedures.
* Documents care as provided.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and take appropriate action.
* Communicates clearly, honestly, appropriately, and in a timely manner with patients, families, and care team members.
* Completes documentation of care/behaviors with accuracy according to facility guidelines.
* Respects the confidentiality of patient information and adheres to HIPAA and facility guidelines.
* Recognizes and reports changes in the patient’s condition.
* Demonstrates caring attitudes and behaviors to develop therapeutic relationships.
* Demonstrates respect, equity, and empathy in actions and interactions with culturally diverse and vulnerable patients.
* Demonstrates knowledge of facility safety procedures.
* Perform other duties as assigned. Occasional weekend work to support special events.

* Reports to work on time as scheduled; completes work within designated timeframes.
* Actively participates in departmental and organizational performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities.
* Strives to uphold regulatory requirements to ensure continual compliance with departmental, hospital, state, and federal regulations and policies.
* Follows policies and procedures for infection control, safety, and risk management to ensure a safe environment for patients, the public, and staff.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
* Must be at least 16 years of age (21 for driving positions with a valid driver’s license).
* Must be able to legally work in the United States.
* Must be able to pass a background check.
* Must be able to pass a drug screen and breath alcohol test (if applicable).
* Must complete employee health meeting.
Required Education/Licensure/Certification
* High School Diploma (or equivalent), preferred.
* Valid Colorado Certified Nursing Assistant Certification, required.
* Current BLS certification (or must be obtained within 90 days).
Experience
* One (1) year Nursing Assistant experience, preferred.
* Med/Surg or Long-Term Care experience, preferred.
