JUNIOR PRODUCER (PART TIME)
Role Overview
This is a part-time role, equivalent to one weekday each week until the end of the year. We will only accept applications from candidates who are not seeking full-time work during the next seven months.
Project Description
IWC Media is producing a feature-length observational documentary filmed over several years, focusing on a globally-famous London destination (currently NDA). This historic institution is undergoing a major renovation and extension project.
Responsibilities
1. Manage the large number of participants who may be filmed.
2. Coordinate and chase contacts diplomatically and pleasantly, demonstrating strong organisation and resilience.
3. Communicate with both creative and technical experts, especially those involved in design, construction, and engineering projects.
4. Track potential stories and assess filming opportunities.
5. Conduct research into additional potential stories, making editorial judgements confidently.
6. Occasionally participate in location filming.
7. Work primarily from home, with occasional days in a central London office.
8. Work independently according to a brief from the director.
Work Arrangement
The role is paid for a weekday’s work (Monday-Friday), which may be spread across the week. Flexibility is available to accommodate other commitments or part-time responsibilities.
