The School Organisation Manager holds responsibility for delivering critical statutory functions.
These include:
Coordinating LA duties relating to the academisation processes, ensuring the local authority fulfils its statutory duties and liaises effectively with DfE and converting schools.
Providing advice and guidance relating to statutory school organisation proposals
Coordinating LA duties relating to statutory school organisation proposals including publishing statutory notices and submissions to the Office of the Schools Adjudicator
Ensuring timely submission of statutory returns, including the annual School Capacity Assessment Return (SCAP)
Supporting the Head of Education Statutory Services with an ongoing whole school estate organisation review
The candidate must have previous experience in a similar role, thorough knowledge of statutory processes and strong analytical skills, being able to deliver robust projections
At least 3 months full time commitment required
On site maximum 2 days per week
