Role Overview:
KPMG UK is seeking a Senior GenAI Engineer to join our Data & AI team. You will contribute to the development and deployment of generative AI models, support client project delivery, and collaborate to create impactful AI solutions. You will design AI systems, manage teams, and ensure effective integration of AI models into client environments, adhering to data governance and security standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* AI Solution Development: Design, develop, and implement generative AI models to solve client business challenges. Collaborate with senior AI engineers and data scientists. Create PoCs, MVPs, and AI projects that deliver impact.
* Client Project Delivery & Team Management: Support AI solution delivery, manage and mentor AI engineers and data scientists, and work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions.
* Coding & Implementation: Develop and optimize AI models using tools like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Databricks, and Snowflake. Ensure models are integrated into existing systems with version control and CI/CD processes.
* Data Management & Integration: Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure data flow, quality, and security, complying with governance policies.
* Business Development & Practice Building: Identify AI opportunities, support RFPs and proposals, and contribute to expanding KPMG’s AI capabilities.
* Ethical and Secure AI Deployment: Ensure AI models comply with data governance, privacy, and ethical standards, developing guidelines for secure data handling.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Educational Background: Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or related fields preferred but not mandatory. Consideration for candidates with significant professional experience or certifications in AI/ML.
* Work Experience: 5+ years in AI/ML, with experience in deploying generative AI solutions. Proven experience with LLMs like GPT, BERT, and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and cloud platforms like Databricks and Snowflake.
* Skills: Proficiency in designing and coding generative AI models, prompt engineering, understanding of AI algorithms, deployment in cloud environments, version control, Docker, data engineering tools, and team leadership skills.
