Warehouse Operative
We are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our team in Rochdale. You will be assisting the Stock Team Leader in ensuring that our stores are maintained efficiently and accurately, ensuring kit is provided for Production, Field Engineering Teams and Suppliers.
Warehouse Operative Overview:
Unloading deliveries and cross-referencing items with paperwork to check for damaged or missing goods.
Organising and loading goods onto delivery vehicles.
Sorting and moving stock to the correct locations, often with the use of equipment like pallet trucks or forklifts.
Understand the stock holding on a weekly basis of our key stock items.
Assist with regular stock counts
Picking and packing items for orders, ensuring accuracy and preparing them for shipment.Your Experience:
Familiar with the receipt of physical stock
Experience of working within a warehouse environment
Experience working with hazardous substances is desirable, but not essential
Experience driving forklifts is desirable, not essential
Experience in a physically demanding role, including heavy lifting
Strong demonstratable awareness of health and safety
Strong work ethic
Ability to work collaboratively within a teamWhat’s on offer:
