An opportunity has arisen for a Partner to join our non-contentious Construction team. The role can be based in either the South West or London.
We are seeking a candidate to develop clients and contribute to the department's growth, while maintaining a high level of client service. The successful candidate will support the Head of Construction and the wider Real Estate team in achieving the Business Plan.
Duties will include:
1. Deliver work effectively and efficiently on individual files, delegate tasks appropriately, ensure profitability, and supervise junior fee earners regarding file management and time recording.
2. Act as the senior lawyer on complex matters, demonstrating recognized expertise in your discipline or sector.
3. Build strong relationships with clients and referrers, exceeding service expectations and supporting partners in managing larger, key clients.
4. Manage client review processes and implement improvements based on feedback.
5. Expand your expertise into new client sectors or markets to increase market share.
6. Lead the generation of thought leadership based on legal or market changes to attract new opportunities.
7. Oversee team work to meet financial and non-financial KPIs, utilizing management information to assess performance.
Skills, Experience, and Attributes
* 8+ years PQE at a leading national or regional firm.
* Experience in all aspects of non-contentious construction matters.
