The Role
The Head of Conveyancing will take ownership of the new office conveyancing department, driving growth, building the team, and strengthening the firm’s local presence. This is a senior leadership position, combining strategic oversight with hands-on involvement in complex property transactions.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading and managing the conveyancing team to deliver exceptional client service.
* Developing and executing growth strategies for the department.
* Building and nurturing a strong local network of professional contacts and referral partners.
* Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and professional standards.
* Working closely with the leadership team to align conveyancing services with the wider firm strategy.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will be a qualified conveyancer (Solicitor, CLC or Licensed Conveyancer) with the ambition and vision to take the conveyancing practice to the next level.
They will be:
* Experienced in handling a full range of residential and/or commercial conveyancing matters.
* Client-focused, with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
* A natural networker who enjoys engaging with clients, agents, and local professionals.
* Commercially astute, with the ability to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
* Ambitious and motivated to build and lead a high-performing team.
