Role Overview This is a key role in our Health Services team, driving excellence in clinical care in the maritime environment. You’ll lead our clinical quality programme—implementing improvements to drive quality and enhance patient safety. From undertaking audits and investigating events, to supporting and promoting quality improvement activities, you’ll be at the heart of safeguarding standards and shaping a culture of continuous improvement. This pivotal role will involve: Leading the delivery of the clinical audit programme across the Carnival UK fleet, including ship-based and medical records audits Investigating patient safety events and collaborating with Fleet Operations to identify root causes and implement corrective actions Promoting and supporting continuous quality improvement initiatives across shipboard and shoreside teams Acting as the subject matter expert for patient safety, supporting educational opportunities and ensuring accurate data recording and reporting What You'll Bring We're looking for someone with: A Nursing, Paramedic or Medical qualification, with current active professional registration Previous experience in a patient safety or quality improvement role Proven organizational ability and strong time management skills High computer literacy including use of Microsoft 365 The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
