Are you an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer looking for your next role? Finlay Jude Associates are working with a leading company who specialise in providing solutions across the water, and wastewater industry.
Responsibilities
* Produce Outline and Detailed Mechanical Designs which are cost effective and meet the requirements of the client’s specifications, and which can be purchased, installed and commissioned effectively
* Production and Checking of all design deliverables including Specifications, Schedules, Drawings and Calculations
* Ensure designs are completed in accordance with CDM Regulations
* Ensure that standard designs and design practices are utilised wherever possible
* Delivering the design stage outputs of each project within the agreed timescale and budget
* Coordinating design outputs across all technical disciplines
* Preparing monthly project status reports
* Establish working relationships with construction staff and supply chain representatives to promote buildability and supply chain efficiency in design outputs
Skills and Knowledge Requirements
* Degree or equivalent qualification
* Several years’ experience in Mechanical design in water / process industry
* Chartered or near chartered in a construction discipline as appropriate to grade
* Experience in the Water treatment Industry
* Working knowledge of CDM and construction Health & Safety
