Position Summary:
This position is responsible for identifying, managing and implementing sustainable process improvement activities, leveraging data analytics that accomplish business imperatives. An Analyst is responsible for analyzing, recommending and executing organizational improvements. An Analyst will identify process improvements and make recommendations to the Management Team around the topics of forecasting, inventory, capacity, labor and/or suppliers.
Supply Chain Analyst:
A Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for analyzing, recommending and executing organizational improvements. A Supply Chain Analyst will make recommendations to the Management Team around the topics of forecasting, inventory, capacity, labor and/or suppliers. In this position, the Supply Chain Analyst will prepare, analyze and manage the financial and business information needed to make sound decisions and process improvements. Makes recommendations to the Executive Team on labor and inventory management as well as machine utilization.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
* Conducts quantitative analysis to identify opportunities to achieve business imperatives.Initiates further analysis and recommendations based on findings.
* Measures accuracy and identifies areas for improvement.
* Assists in the development of rules-based analysis and applies them per departmental policies.
* Acts as department lead for change initiatives.
* Cultivates and leverages relationships to resolve supply chain issues.
* Supports project teams through conducting independent analysis working to drive optimization and overall supply chain success.
* Creates and presents recommendations in a concise manner.
* Continuously looks for ways to benchmark and improve processes through analysis of methods and models.
* Makes adjustments to the analysis using the most effective method.
* Acts as the primary contact within the Supply Chain for the testing and implementation of processes and application improvements.
* Analyzes requirements to troubleshoot problems and/or answer questions.
* Demonstrates overall knowledge of Swagelok’s end to end supply chain, applies knowledge to achieve organizational impact.
* Understands and can educate others with respect to the supply chain concepts of their functional area.
* Collaborates across functional groups and makes recommendations leveraging available system solutions and escalating when appropriate.
* Able to independently extract and interpret relevant data on an ad hoc basis.
* Generates new ideas and willingly supports change initiatives.

Education, Experience, Skills & Knowledge:
Required:
* Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of supply chain experience or 5+ years in previous supply chain positions.
* Capable of connecting experiences from previous positions to understand their implications on current position on overall supply chain.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Business Management & Planning systems.
