Account Manager – Financial Services / Insurance
* Location: Hybrid (London-based, 3 days in office)
* Contract: 6 months initially, with potential to extend or go permanent
* Daily Rate: £250 - £280
Are you an experienced Account Manager with a passion for Financial Services, Investment, and Insurance? Do you thrive in a fast-paced agency environment, working on complexed client needs and delivering outstanding service? If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
We’re partnering with a specialist B2B marketing agency focused on insurance and financial services companies. They work with leading FS, investment, insurance companies, and brokers, delivering expert marketing, media, brand development, events, production, and more.
What you’ll be doing:
* Supporting busy client service teams managing multiple FS, investment, and insurance accounts
* Acting as the key liaison between clients, internal teams, and external partners (production, design, media buying)
* Managing full project briefs from inception through to delivery
* Identifying opportunities for process improvement and innovation across accounts
* Managing budgets, forecasts, and ensuring commercial profitability
* Building and maintaining strong relationships both internally and with clients
Who we’re looking for:
* Agency background, ideally with experience managing FS, investment, or insurance clients
* 3-5 years’ experience in account management within small to medium-sized agencies
* Strong understanding of marketing, media planning, social media, brand development, and production processes
* Commercially minded with a focus on numbers, profitability, and client satisfaction
* Comfortable working in a B2B environment, ideally with exposure to financial services or insurance sectors
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to take accurate notes, manage client comms, and build trusted relationships
* Ambitious, proactive, and able to hit the ground running
