Key Stage 2 Teacher – Prestwich (M25 Area)
Start Date: September 2026
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £160-£220 per day
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:00pm
About the School
We are working in partnership with a well-established and community-focused primary school in the Prestwich area that is seeking to appoint a committed and skilled Key Stage 2 Teacher from September 2026.

The Role
As a Key Stage 2 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high standards of teaching and learning within the KS2 curriculum, ensuring all pupils are supported and challenged appropriately.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan and deliver well-structured, engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum
2. Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs
3. Create a positive and purposeful classroom environment that promotes high expectations
4. Implement effective behaviour management strategies in line with school policies
5. Contribute to curriculum development and whole-school initiatives
6. Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents
The Ideal Candidate Will:
7. Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
8. Have experience teaching within Key Stage 2
9. Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and effective teaching practice
10. Exhibit excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
11. Be committed to raising achievement and supporting pupil wellbeing
12. Work effectively as part of a team and contribute to the wider school community
Eligibility Requirements:
13. Right to work in the UK
14. Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
15. Two professional references relating to working with children
