What you’ll be doing
* Support: Provide 1:1 assistance to pupils with special educational needs, helping them to engage confidently in lessons.
* Assist: Work alongside teachers to deliver tailored learning plans and personalised support strategies.
* Engage: Encourage participation and celebrate progress—big or small.
* Manage: Respond to challenging behaviour with positivity, empathy, and effective strategies.
* Communicate: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and professionals to track and support each child’s development.
* Nurture: Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment where every pupil feels valued.

What we’re looking for
* Experience working with pupils with special educational needs (SEN)
* A patient, understanding, and proactive attitude
* The right to work in the UK
* A valid DBS or willingness to apply for one
* A good understanding of diverse learning styles
