The Role Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will take ownership of a designated territory, driving commercial performance across sales, margin, profitability and account development. The position will focus on both new business acquisition and strengthening relationships with existing customers. Key Responsibilities Drive territory performance by achieving and exceeding sales and margin targets Identify and secure new business opportunities through proactive management of a prospect pipeline Grow existing accounts by increasing product penetration across chilled, frozen and ambient ranges Monitor and manage customer accounts in line with agreed credit terms Deliver high levels of customer service through consistent communication and effective account management Track competitor activity and provide market insights to support commercial strategy Maintain accurate reporting including sales updates, journey planning and performance tracking Manage time and resources effectively to ensure efficient territory coverage Support wider sales initiatives and campaigns as required Protect and grow account profitability in line with overall business objectives The Person Minimum of 3 years' experience in a field-based sales role, ideally within foodservice or FMCG Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets Strong relationship-building and networking skills Full, clean driving licence Proficient in Microsoft Office Desirable Knowledge of catering or foodservice operating models Experience working across multi-temperature product categories What's on Offer Competitive salary and benefits package Company car or car allowance Opportunity to join a market-leading organisation Strong career progression potential Supportive and dynamic working environment Skills: Business Development FMCG chilled food KAM BDM Business Development Manager Benefits: fantastic benefits package company car
