Senior PHP (Laravel) Developer- £70k + 20% Bonus - Join a fintech specialist supporting financial advisers, property developers and homeowners.
As a Senior PHP Developer, your primary focus will be to build a greenfield platform using PHP/Laravel to replace their legacy system (Zend). You will contribute to architectural decisions, design patterns, engineering practices and implementation.
Location: x 2 week in Watford Office, WD17 1EU
Salary: £65,000-70,000 + 20% bonus
Key responsibilities:
1. Assist in architecting, design, development, and implementation of complex web-based applications and core utilities
2. Collaborate with divisional architects, lead engineers and other engineers to set web-based architectural standards for the division
3. Provide a level of mentorship to junior developers (when necessary)
4. Effectively manage time and convey progress whilst working on multiple tasks
5. Assist in improving the company's deployment processes
6. Interpret and evaluate business requirements and contribute to the design of applications
Our Expectations for the Ideal Candidate
7. Senior-level Knowledge and Experience with PHP and Laravel
8. Senior-level Knowledge and Experience in JavaScript (Preferable
9. Strong command line use of Git.
10. Knowledge of Zend framework.
11. In-depth experience with MySQL
12. Robust knowledge of cyber security (vulnerabilities, mitigation's, dependencies)
13. Previous experience designing and building cloud SaaS Applications
