Role Overview As a Quantity Surveyor, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the commercial success of multiple residential and affordable housing projects. Working within the Commercial team, you’ll manage all cost-related and contractual aspects of construction projects—from procurement through to final accounts—while maintaining compliance with company and contract standards. Working closely with and overseeing an Assistant Quantity Surveyor between you, you will over see up to 4 projects. Key Responsibilities of Quantity Surveyor Procurement & Value Management: Lead the subcontract procurement process to secure best value, leveraging group supply agreements and contributing to value engineering discussions. Cost Control & Reporting: Prepare and maintain key commercial documents such as cost value reconciliations (CVRs), risk and opportunity registers, and cashflow forecasts. Subcontract Management: Administer and oversee subcontractor accounts, including valuations, variations, contra charges, and final accounts.
