The Vacancy Support Workers - FitzRoy Supported Living, Bury St Edmunds Full-Time and Part-Time - Days & Nights Available £12.40 per hour Enhancements FitzRoy's Supported Living services in Bury St Edmunds provide care and support to adults with learning disabilities and autism. We're looking for compassionate, flexible, and dedicated Support Workers to join our friendly team. Could this be you? What We Offer Pay: £12.40 per hour Overtime: £2.50 per hour Emergency Cover Bonus: £25 for short-notice cover Full-time: 37.5 hours per week (Days or Nights) Part-time: Flexible hours with guaranteed contracts available Driving Licence Essential - you must be willing to drive our accessible vehicles About the Role Each of the people we support lives in their own self-contained flat, with 1-to-1 support provided throughout the day and a shared night staff team. We support people with a broad range of needs - from those with high support requirements to others who are more independent but may need help with motivation, daily routines, or maintaining a healthy lifestyle. We also support two young women in separate flats away from the main site. One of these ladies requires a sleep-in staff member every night, so flexibility is key. You'll work in partnership with each person to understand their goals and provide tailored support that promotes independence, dignity, and choice. Support may include: Personal care Help with cooking, cleaning, and daily routines Support to engage in hobbies, interests, and community activities Encouragement around healthy living and emotional wellbeing Night Support Worker Duties If you're applying for night shifts, your responsibilities will include: Supporting bedtime and morning routines Providing personal care and emotional reassurance throughout the night Completing light domestic tasks and paperwork Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of residents overnight What We're Looking For A positive, can-do attitude and a genuine passion for supporting others A desire to help people live as independently as possible while staying safe Flexibility to work a range of shifts including days, nights, weekends, and sleep-ins A full UK driving licence and willingness to drive service vehicles If you're ready to make a real difference in someone's life while working in a supportive and rewarding environment, we want to hear from you!
