We are seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable Science Supply Teacher at teaching tomorrow to support schools across Northampton with daily cover, short-term assignments, and longer-term placements.
This is a great opportunity for teachers who enjoy variety, want to broaden their experience, and make a positive impact in the classroom without the commitment of a permanent role. Both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and Key Stage 5 where required).
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively, creating a safe and positive environment for learning.
* Support students in developing their scientific knowledge, practical skills, and curiosity.
* Adapt quickly to different school environments while maintaining high teaching standards.
What We’re Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Recent teaching experience in a secondary school, ideally within Science.
* Strong subject knowledge and the ability to engage learners of all abilities.
* Good classroom management and adaptability.
* A valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
