A reputable and well-regarded law practice is seeking a Legal Secretary with a solid background in residential property transactions to become part of their welcoming team in the Sittingbourne office. * Transcribing digital dictation and drafting legal documents
* Handling incoming phone calls and communicating with clients
* Providing updates to clients and scheduling meetings
* Inputting case details into the Proclaim legal software
* Managing files from opening to closure
* Carrying out title and local authority searches
* Assisting with the coordination of completions and exchange of contracts
Candidate Profile:
* Energetic and cooperative team contributor
* Previous experience as a legal secretary is essential
* Familiarity with the conveyancing process, particularly completions and exchanges, is highly advantageous
* Fast and accurate typing abilities and strong verbal communication
* Discreet, personable, and self-motivated approach to work
Salary & Benefits:
* £21,000 – £26,000 depending on experience
* Two annual performance-based bonuses
