Job Description

The client:

1. A highly independent young man who is always thriving to become more independent and self-sufficient.
2. A positive personality who can enjoy both a serious conversation as well as a good laugh.
3. Very ambitious and would like support with working towards his life goals.
4. Enjoys all things music and plays the guitar and keyboard. A background in sound engineering.
5. Able to walk with the support of a tripod, uses a wheelchair for longer distances.

The applicant:

6. You can cover a mixture of shifts Monday to Sunday
7. Sunday: 9am-5pm
8. Able and willing to work on alternate weekends
9. Clean Driving Licence is essential due to nature of support.
10. Confident driver who is willing to learn how to drive the clients' automatic vehicle.
11. Excellent observation, communication, & reporting skills.
12. Confident working within a multi-disciplinary team
13. A good team player
14. Strong motivator able to support a highly independent adult

Qualifications

You do not need any experience or particular qualifications for this role, however, it would be useful to have some experience of a support/ PA role working with complex adults.
