Cambridge | Working Pattern: Full-time, in-person (4-day week, Monday to Thursday) Ready to help shape one of the UK's fastest growing re-commerce brands? WeBuyVintage is looking for a creative, confident and highly proactive PR & Content Lead to help us tell our story to the world. You’ll be one of the first key hires in our growing marketing team, meaning the impact you can have is huge. This is a role for someone who loves brand storytelling, media relations, and content creation in equal measure. You’ll be part strategist, part doer - building our PR presence from the ground up while creating social content that shows the human side of our fast-growing brand. Who We Are WeBuyVintage is one of the UK’s largest buyers of jewellery, antiques and collectibles. We run more roadshows than any other UK company — over 180 valuation events every month — bringing trusted experts face-to-face with customers across the country. In less than two years, we’ve grown from a pub-table idea into an eight-figure business, and we’re on a mission to make WeBuyVintage a brand everyone recognises. The Role As PR & Content Lead, you’ll own and execute the storytelling that shapes how the public sees us — across press, social media, and brand communications. You’ll manage everything from spotting PR opportunities and pitching to journalists, to planning our social content calendar, writing posts, and creating story-led campaigns. It’s a role for someone who can zoom out to see the bigger picture, then roll up their sleeves to make it happen. You’ll work closely with our Head of Marketing to define our public voice and grow awareness nationally, while collaborating with other marketing hires and freelancers/agencies as our team expands. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute our PR and communications strategy — securing coverage across national, local, and lifestyle media. Write press releases, media pitches, and articles that tell our story authentically. Manage our brand storytelling across owned channels (social, blog, email) to reinforce trust and awareness. Plan and schedule social media content across Facebook and Instagram, balancing day-to-day posting with longer-term campaigns. Collaborate with freelancers, agencies or internal team members on content as needed. Track coverage, social performance, and audience engagement to refine strategy over time. Support our founder with personal-brand content, podcast prep and interview opportunities. Ensure all communications reflect our brand tone of voice — respectful, clear, trustworthy, and human. What We’re Looking For 4–6 years’ experience in PR or content marketing. Excellent writing skills — able to shift tone easily between press releases, email marketing and engaging social copy. A natural storyteller who spots the human angle and can turn everyday moments into strong brand content. Confident pitching to media and building relationships with journalists. Experience managing social media channels and content calendars. Social media video editing skills, and an excellent eye for what works on social. Organised, proactive, and happy to get stuck into the doing as well as the thinking. Thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building from scratch. What We Offer Competitive salary 4-day working week Opportunity to shape the future one of the UK’s fastest-growing re-commerce brands Collaborative, friendly environment with room to progress as the team expands Direct access to founders and the chance to build a national brand with purpose How to Apply We’ll only be looking at applications with a cover letter.
