Job Summary
As the saying goes, no two days will be the same, but overall, you'll be conducting comprehensive assessments, diagnosis, and management of patients. These patients would traditionally be referred into secondary care rheumatology services with non-inflammatory or persistent joint problems. You will develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions, to optimally manage patients' conditions. You will also provide specialist advice to stakeholders across the pathway, lead and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate care, and ensure holistic treatment approaches. Maintaining professional relationships with external clinical stakeholders such as secondary care consultants and GPs will facilitate successful partnership working and the delivery and development of high-quality rheumatology care for patients across the system.
