Field Service Engineer - Forklifts/MHE
Location: Yorkshire
Salary: £34,000 - £36,000 + Overtime + Door to door paid travel
We're recruiting for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join a well-established forklift distributor based in Yorkshire, who specialise in supplying a wide range of lithium battery powered (as well as occasionally some old-school diesel and LPG powered) MHE.
This is a varied, field-based position involving servicing and repairs for a range of machinery, ideal for an engineer who enjoys being out on the road and working directly with a variety of clients.
Responsibilities
* Carry out site visits to complete servicing, repairs and reactive maintenance
* Complete all associated documentation, including risk assessments, service reports, and timesheets
* Work safely at all times, following company and site Health & Safety procedures
Qualifications
* Proven background as a field service engineer, ideally within a Forklift/MHE/heavy vehicle environment
* Mechanically and electrically competent, with strong fault-finding and diagnostic ability
* Customer-focused with excellent communication skills
* Full UK driving licence required
