About the vacancy:
We are looking to hire Multi Skilled Masonry and Groundswork Operative to work as part of our External Works team to deliver a professional and cost-effective service, maintaining and improving the homes of Hedyn's residents.

Specifically, in the role you will:
To excavate and install foundations and install brick/blockwork from plan. Install hard paved and concrete paths laid to falls incorporating correct drainage solutions, ensuring they conform to current building regulations.
Ability to set out site, from plans and drawings, to achieve correct levels
Install and repair fencing timber and chain-link to meet desired requirements.
To ensure site safety and protection is installed and checked daily and weekly.Work as part of a team to deliver a diverse variety of projects to conclusion.
To ensure correct materials, plant and labour are used to achieve an effective repair.
Undertake daily and weekly checks to vehicle, plant and tools and report defects to Fleet and Operational Impact Controller and/or relevant persons.
To ensure all site deliveries from other parties are delivered on time and stored securely on site.
To carry out any other duties as directed by your line manager in furtherance of the organisation and individual objectives and policies.
To assist in the development of other staff in the onsite environment.
Ensure all H&S requirements are adhered to including risk assessments, CDM, COSHH and Asbestos regulations, HAVS.
To correctly record work time documentation and deliver to line manager.
