Portfolio Procurement has been engaged by our leading Hertfordshire based client to recruit for a Supply Chain Coordinator.
Key Job Duties
* Processing International purchase orders, deliveries, shipments, and invoices for global customers.
* Liaising with customers and suppliers globally and raising orders with factories in the Far East and Europe.
* Liaising with shipping agents to get competitive prices for freight and arranging paperwork for customs clearance.
* Analysing stock holding and customer sales.
* Keeping supply procedures up to date.
* Cover for other members of the Supply Chain team, reporting to the Head of Supply & Operations.
* Other administrative tasks as necessary according to the needs of the business.
Skills/Experience Required
* Previous experience in a supply chain role including the understanding of different shipment incoterms.
* Understanding of the order, delivery, and invoice processes for a supplier.
* Advanced Excel skills.
* Excellent multi-tasking skills.
* Analytical ability.
* Organised and able to maintain accurate records.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Productive and proactive.
