Business Analyst - Business Change
Tunbridge Wells 2-3 days per week, the rest remote working
We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst to join Robert Walters as a Workforce Consultant. This role offers permanent employment with opportunities for skill development through ongoing training and professional accreditations.
The successful candidate will undertake end-to-end business analysis, ensuring coordination of impact assessments, requirements definition, and functional design across systems, processes, people, data, and journeys to ensure comprehensive solution design.
Key Responsibilities include:
1. Define end-to-end change requirements, understanding impacts on systems, people, processes, data, and journeys.
2. Ensure requirements analysis and functionality align with company standards and target architectures, obtaining governance approval when necessary.
3. Follow a structured business analysis and design framework within the Business Analysis Practice, including EPIC and user story creation in Agile teams.
4. Support business users in defining requirements rather than solutions.
5. Manage communication related to business requirements and functional design, including approval processes.
6. Review and sign off testing strategies, plans, and results to ensure end-to-end solution delivery.
7. Manage changes in business requirements, documenting and understanding impacts.
8. Identify synergies across projects to deliver change effectively.
Required Skills/Experience:
1. Experience in defining end-to-end solutions, considering impacts across systems, people, processes, data, and journeys, supporting benefits delivery.
2. Familiarity with business analysis and design frameworks for making informed decisions on system and process changes.
3. Understanding of technical and business architecture, with experience in customer and employee journey mapping and analysis.
4. Knowledge of Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies.
5. Change leadership experience.
6. Experience working within Agile teams.
7. Ability to operate at a conceptual level where requirements are not well defined.
8. Strong customer focus and ability to communicate in business language.
9. Excellent facilitation, communication, listening, coaching, and documentation skills.
10. Ability to view the business enterprise-wide and experience in design thinking.
11. Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills.
12. Thorough knowledge of IT development lifecycles, data management, governance, and classification.
