Want to work in a children’s home that makes a positive, lasting difference to children’s lives? Compass Children’s Homes are largely rated Good or Outstanding by Ofsted and are looking for people to join our team. We need determined, resilient people to be long lasting, significant adults in a child’s life, whether you have experience as a Residential Worker or Youth Worker or you are starting a career in residential care.

Compass Homes are built around accepting a child as they are in a non-judgemental way. You will help teach them to build self-esteem and work toward healthy adulthood.


Responsibilities

* Support children and young people in all aspects of their lives, including educational pursuits, hobbies, and activities.
* Use your experience and skills (developed with our training) to assist with the care of children and young people.
* Create positive relationships, meet needs, and uphold safeguarding standards.
* Set up timetables, boundaries, and expectations; demonstrate consistency and strong organisational skills.
* Support a variety of children and young people, including those requiring higher levels of supervision and guidance in education, training, and employment.

Requirements and Equal Opportunity

* Age: You must be 22 years old or above to apply (per children’s homes regulations).
* Driving licence is required.
