Are you a creative, enthusiastic and organised individual with a passion for bringing people together and making a difference? Saint Catherine’s Hospice is looking for a Community Fundraiser to develop initiatives with a particular focus on engaging blue light services and military veterans and contributing also to collaborative work with corporate partners—helping to raise vital funds and awareness to support patients and families across our region. As part of our friendly and dedicated Income Generation team, you will have a key role in organising a wide range of hospice-led events, supporting third-party fundraisers, and engaging with schools, businesses, clubs and local groups to inspire community support. What you’ll do: Generate, develop and co-ordinate fundraising activities with a specific focus on engagement with blue light services and military veterans. Promote the Veterans Aware status of Saint Catherines and collaborate internally and externally to develop initiatives that further support this status and give a high profile. Assist the Specialist Advisor-Income Generation in the collaborative engagement of corporate partners on behalf of Saint Catherine’ ensuring income and engagement targets are met. Build strong relationships with supporters, volunteers and local organisations to grow engagement and participation. Promote projects through creative marketing and local media, working closely with our communications team. Represent Saint Catherine’s at events, talks and cheque presentations, acting as an ambassador for the hospice in the wider community. What we’re looking for: Proven experience in developing collaborative working with a range of agencies. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects. Confident communicator who thrives in a public-facing role. Flexible and proactive approach—willing to work some evenings and weekends as needed. A passion for hospice care and making a meaningful impact.
