The Role
As a key member of our team, you’ll:
* Lead the administration with respect to the Authorities statutory requirements in dealing with protected trees.
* Co-ordinate and administer surveys and monitoring, including: identifying survey sites; contacting landowners; inputting results into GQIA and other databases; and assist with analysis and report production.
* Assist with the administration of new woodland creation including the ‘Nature for Climate Fund’ Woodland Creation programme.
* Monitor expenditure against the programme budget and provide regular updates.
* Provide secretariat support to the Dales Woodland Forum in co-ordinating the Dales Woodland Strategy.
About You
* 3 or more level 2 (GCSE level or equivalent) qualifications at 9–4 (A* to C) including English and Maths.
* Direct experience of dealing with local communities and the wider general public in a work environment.
* General administrative skills including data collection, maintenance and management.
* Proficient in the use of IT software packages such as MS365, Teams, Excel and Word.
