We’ve got an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a store supervisor. Find your place as a leader at Starbucks and help us build the brand’s future. Here’you’ll take the lead of the shift, working with your team of baristas to create our Starbucks Experience for our customers with high quality service, beverages and products, whilst creating our third place environment.
Responsibilities
* Take responsibility for running shifts, coaching partners and creating a positive learning environment for the store team.
* Collaborate with the Store Manager, lead great shifts, support partners and inspire best moments while delivering the Starbucks Experience for our partners and customers.
* Set priorities by leveraging existing tools and resources, determine roles, delegate tasks and drive profitability of the store.
* Inspire and motivate the store team to make every moment right for partners and customers, including pre‑empting and adapting to any potential issues and resolving any that arise to optimise the customer experience.
* Identify teachable moments to share best practices with the team.
* See challenges as opportunities for continuous improvement and drive operational excellence.
* Execute store operations during scheduled shifts, including organising opening and closing duties.
* Ensure all partners follow Starbucks operational policies and procedures, including cash handling, safety and security, to ensure the safety of all partners during each shift.
* Provide quality beverages and food products consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards.
* Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products.
Qualifications
* Previous coaching or supervisory experience in a customer‑facing role.
* Experience leading operational activities in a retail or hospitality environment.
* Strong communication, problem‑solving and interpersonal skills.
