Role Description
This is an on-site, part-time role for an English Teacher based in Peterborough. The English Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering English language lessons to refugees, asylum seekers, and other individuals in need. Additional tasks include assessing students' language proficiency, preparing lesson plans, monitoring progress, and providing feedback to enhance their language skills.
Qualifications
* Strong English language proficiency and teaching skills
* Experience in adult education and lesson planning
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work with diverse populations and cultural sensitivity
* Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping others
* Relevant teaching qualifications (e.g., TESOL, CELTA) are a plus
