Crane Building Services and Utilities (BS&U) is part of the Fluid Handling Division of Crane Co. founded in 1855, which is a global, multi-industry, New York Stock Exchange quoted company. We design, manufacture, package and market engineered flow control solutions for the HVAC and Utility sectors, with strong sales into key growth export markets.

Crane Co. was founded on 4th July 1855 by Richard Teller Crane who made the following resolution:

The role:
The Engineering Coordinator will work closely with the engineering team across multiple projects to translate concepts into accurate technical drawings. This role involves a combination of technical drafting and essential administrative duties, including managing routine data entry tasks while ensuring seamless workflow across multiple engineering projects.
Principle Responsibilities:
* Create, modify, and review 2D and 3D CAD drawings using Creo based on technical specifications.
* Work closely with engineers and designers to translate concepts into accurate technical drawings.
* Create and update products, components and Bills of Materials (BOMs) in the ERP system, ensuring accuracy and completeness of component information.
* Perform engineering calculations and develop Not On File Specification (NOFS) designs, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project requirements.
* Perform repetitive data entry tasks related to job books, project tracking, and costing sheets with accuracy and attention to detail.
* Maintain and update DCC (Document Control Change) forms, ensuring approvals are obtained and all changes are documented correctly.
* Carry out costing processes inputting data, running spreadsheets, and calculating costs.
* Manage email communications, update records, and handle the filing of technical drawings and reports.
* Ensure job tracking is accurate, updating project timelines, task completion, and key deliverables.
* Assist the team in printing reports, documents, and organizing them for approval and release.
Qualifications/Experience/Training:
* Formal qualification in a mechanical drafting, design technology or related field
* Minimum 3-5 years' of drafting/design related experience
* Proficiency in using CAD (Creo)
* Proficiency in using ERP systems such as SAP, QAD or TeamCenter
* Basic understand of various manufacturing processes including injection molding, casting, metal fabrication, welding, CNC and plastic is desired.
* Proficiency in Excel
