Job Description:
How we make the difference in Regulatory and Risk
Our Regulatory & Risk Advisory Graduate programme is designed to give you the experience and core consulting skills you need to get your career off to a flying start. You'll build your commercial understanding and business acumen to deliver real value to our clients straight away.
The work is interesting and varied, and it’s high profile. With the current economic climate and increasing complexity, clients and Regulators are focusing more on risk and regulatory issues.
You can expect to work in the following areas:
Modelling and Model Risk Management: Model Risk involves potential adverse outcomes from errors in business and financial models and inappropriate model use. You will work with clients on model development, validation, and governance, and learn coding languages supporting areas like climate risk and credit risk modelling.
Financial Risk and Resilience: Support clients in prudential regulatory, ESG, and insurance risks. Services include assurance, deal support, and optimisation on critical topics.
Wholesale: Work with wholesale clients to address challenges such as conduct risk, risk transformation, internal controls, and non-financial reporting regulation.
Retail: Focus on retail clients, involving conduct, consumer protection, operational resilience, and CASS. Clients range from global asset managers to insurance and banking sectors.
Growth Opportunities: Our three-year programme allows you to develop expertise in risk management across the financial sector, supporting your professional growth and obtaining the Financial Risk Manager (FRM) certification.
Team Environment: You will advise clients on regulatory compliance and sustainability integration into risk management, helping them solve business problems with pragmatic solutions. Curiosity, resilience, and agility are key traits for success.
Application Process and Entry Requirements: We value diverse perspectives and assess both your qualifications and personal qualities. Requirements include GCSE Maths and English Grade 5 or B, 120 UCAS points from top 3 A Levels, and a 2:1 undergraduate degree. You are encouraged to apply even if slightly below these thresholds, as applications are reviewed holistically.
Training and Development: We offer comprehensive training, including an immersive induction, courses, leadership sessions, and online resources. The FRM certification is supported through online and in-person courses, with flexible study options to suit your learning style. Our hybrid model requires travel to training centers, and guidance is provided on maximizing this experience.
