Role Purpose:
This role focuses on acquiring new accounts across convenience stores, vape shops, and fuel stations; executing in-store sales activities through product demos and trade negotiations; building relationships with independent retailers and chain buyers; monitoring competitor trends through retail audits; and representing our brand at industry events to implement compliant promotional campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
* Retail Territory Management & Sales Execution: Conduct regular field visits to retail outlets within the assigned territory to achieve and exceed sales targets.
* Key Account Acquisition & Development: Prospect, onboard, and sign new retail partners, with a strategic focus on securing chain convenience stores and regional distributors.
* Key Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts. Ensure optimal product visibility (placement, share of shelf), effective stock management, and flawless execution of trade promotions and marketing activities.
* Brand Visibility & In-Store Merchandising: Implement and optimise brand merchandising standards, including shelf positioning, promotional displays, and point-of-sale materials to maximise product visibility and appeal.
* Local Marketing Activation: Execute localised marketing events such as pop-up activations and new product trial/demonstration sessions.
* Market & Competitor Intelligence: Continuously monitor competitor activities (pricing, new product launches, promotional strategies) and emerging market trends. Provide timely and actionable insights.
* Sales Data & Feedback Collection: Gather and report accurate point-of-sale data and customer feedback to support product development and sales/marketing strategy refinement.
* Product & Brand Advocacy: Effectively communicate detailed product knowledge, technological benefits, and the brand story to retail partners and consumers.
* Experience: 1-2 years of field sales experience within the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) or vaping industry. Existing network of retail contacts is highly advantageous.
* Skills:
* Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Proven ability to work autonomously and manage a high-frequency field-based schedule.
* Proficiency in using CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems.
* Competency in basic data analysis using tools like Microsoft Excel.
* Other Mandatory Requirements:
* Full UK Driving Licence (valid and clean).
* Fluency in English (written and spoken) - the working language.
* Valid right to work in the UK.
