The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) team is seeking a Navigation Lab Electrical Systems Engineer – Flight Sim Labs, in Berkeley, MO.
Position Responsibilities:
1. Develop and document moderately complex electronic and electrical system requirements.
2. Design hardware, software, and interface specifications.
3. Test and validate to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements.
4. Assist in monitoring supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.
5. Solve problems concerning fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle.
6. Research specific technology advances for potential application to company business needs.
Additional Requirements:
* This position is expected to be 100% onsite at one of the listed locations.
* Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). A clearance active within the past 24 months is considered active.
Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
* Level 2: 2+ years of relevant experience or a Master’s degree with related experience.
* Experience with electrical power systems, electrical/electronic schematics, and testing Inertial Navigation Systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with MATLAB/Simulink, instrumentation, data acquisition systems, and handling ESD hardware.
* Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams, with strong communication skills.
* Hands-on project/lab experience with hardware and mechanical inclination.
Additional Details:
* Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education and 2+ years of related work experience or a Master’s degree.

* Pay range: $79,900 - $108,100 (Level 2).
