Description
Role Overview:
We are looking for a highly capable and detail-oriented D365 System Analyst to support the Finance department in maintaining, optimizing, and enhancing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations. The successful candidate will work directly under the Finance Systems Manager, playing a key role in supporting the finance function with system-related processes, troubleshooting, data analysis, and reporting.
This is a hands-on role for someone experienced in using D365 in a finance environment, who is technically strong in Excel, process-driven, and comfortable translating system data into meaningful insights.
About The Role
D365 System Support
* Manage and optimize D365 Finance & Operations.
* Assist with month-/year-end tasks, validating D365 financial data.
* Troubleshoot user queries and maintain configuration documents.
* Test features, assist with UAT, and ensure data accuracy across finance modules.
System Process Optimization
* Collaborate with the D365 Project Manager to improve finance workflows.
* Streamline repetitive tasks through automation and system enhancements.
* Support audits, change requests, and internal controls.
Training & Documentation
* Create user guides and process documentation.
* Provide informal training and support on D365 reporting and functionality.
Collaboration & Integration
* Partner with finance, IT, purchasing, and vendors for smooth operations.
* Support integration of D365 with other platforms (e.g., OCR systems).
Data Analysis & Reporting
* Analyse data using advanced Excel functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIFS, INDEX/MATCH).
* Build dashboards and reports in Excel and Power BI.
Experience
About you
* Proven experience with D365 Finance & Operations in a system support role.
* Demonstrated success in supporting finance systems and users.
Technical Skills
* Advanced Excel skills (e.g., large datasets, formulas, pivot tables).
* Knowledge of Power BI and OCR systems is a plus.
* Strong understanding of finance processes (e.g., journal entries, month-end close).
