This position is to support an ambulant disabled lady with the daily running of her home. Because I experience chronic pain, I have "good days and bad days," which means my support needs change frequently. I am looking for someone who is not only hardworking but also empathetic and patient. On days when my pain is high, your help with the more physical household tasks will be a vital support, allowing the home to remain a comfortable and organized environment. I am looking for a versatile and proactive Household Assistant to help keep my home running smoothly. This is not a "set routine" role. Instead, the tasks will fluctuate each week based on current needs. One week may focus on deep cleaning and laundry, while the next may prioritize garden tidying and food prep. The "Task Menu" The successful candidate will be provided with a priority list at the start of each session. Responsibilities will be drawn from the following: Core Cleaning: Hoovering, mopping, polishing, and full bathroom cleaning. Laundry & Linens: High-standard ironing, hanging washing to dry, and changing bed linens. Windows & Blinds: Periodic cleaning of interior glass and dusting of blinds. Kitchen & Food: General kitchen duties, washing up, and light food preparation. Outdoor & Errands: Garden tidying (weeding/sweeping) and food shopping (must be a driver). Occasional Tasks: Dog walking on an as-needed basis. Requirements Adaptability: Comfortable with a shifting "to-do" list and able to prioritize tasks effectively. Attention to Detail: A high standard of finish, whether ironing a shirt or cleaning a bathroom. Self-Starter: Ability to see what needs doing without constant supervision. Reliable Transport: Must have a valid driver's license and vehicle for shopping errands. Pet Friendly: Happy to take the dog for a walk on occasion.
