The OpportunityA leading global financial services organisation is seeking a Risk Reporting Analyst (Contract) to join its high-performing Risk function.This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a dynamic, data-driven environment, supporting the delivery of critical risk reporting and analysis across multiple risk areas including Credit, Market, and Operational risk.The role offers strong exposure to senior stakeholders, regulatory reporting, andplex data environments, making it ideal for candidates looking to further develop their experience in risk, reporting, and analysis.
Key Responsibilities
1. Support the preparation, validation, and delivery of risk reports for internal management, regulators, and auditors
2. Analyse data across key risk areas, including limit monitoring, stress testing outputs, and high-risk exposures.
3. Deliver time-sensitive reporting and respond to ad hoc requests from senior stakeholders
4. Identify and investigate data quality issues, anomalies, and breaches, escalating where appropriate
5. Support User Acceptance Testing (EAT) activities for reporting and change initiatives
6. Provide analysis and documentation for audit, regulatory, and review processes
7. Collaborate with risk teams and business stakeholders across multiple regions
Skills & Experience
8. 2–5 years’ experience in Risk, Finance, Audit, Operations, or a similar control function
9. Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
10. Advanced Excel skills (essential)
11. Experience working with data analysis and reporting
12. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
13. Strongmunication skills with the ability to work across teams
Desirable Experience
14. Experience with VBA, Access, or data manipulation tools
15. Exposure to User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
16. Understanding of risk disciplines such as Credit, Market, or Operational Risk
