Part time, 20 hours per week. You must hold a full UK driving licence as driving is essential for this role. A night enhancement of £1.50 per hour will apply from 8pm to 7am Monday – Sunday (this does not apply to sleep-ins). A weekend day enhancement of £2.00 per hour will be paid from 7am to 8pm, Saturday and Sunday. We are based in Jesmond in Newcastle-upon-Tyne About the role As an Activities Worker you will deliver a range of appealing and engaging social/recreational activities, providing exciting opportunities for our residents. Organising outings and events, your creative flair and passion to provide variety and choice will really make a difference to the lives of people with a disability that we support. You may be helping to organise a large-scale service social event, finding common interests amongst a smaller group or trying out everyone's baking skills, there will certainly be a range of exciting things to get stuck in to - creativity is key! About you No experience in activity work is required, but an artistic flair, great organisational skills or interest in arranging fantastic social activities is a must!
