LDG Contracts are part of the Lancashire Double Glazing Group based in Preston. We manufacture, supply and install aluminium windows, doors and bi-folds to a range of commercial, retail and trade customers throughout the North West of England and have been in business for over 35 years.
We are seeking an experienced Trade Sales Manager with hands-on knowledge of aluminium window and door processing to manage and grow our trade customer base.
This role suits someone who understands the full journey from enquiry and specification through to processing and manufacture.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and develop trade accounts including installers, contractors, and developers
• Generate new business within the aluminium windows and doors market
• Provide technical sales and processing support on aluminium systems
• Prepare quotations and process orders accurately for manufacture
• Liaise closely production teams
• Interpret drawings, schedules, and specifications
Essential Experience:
• Proven experience in trade sales of aluminium windows and doors
• Strong understanding of aluminium processing and fabrication preferably with a working knowledge of Technal, Seniors and Alunet.
• Confident using processing software and order systems such as Logikal and Window Designer
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
